2022 Annual Appeal
Kenneth is a first-generation student whose parents left Cambodia for better opportunities. During a LHS afterschool IT program, Kenneth was introduced to Project LEARN's new pilot: a Google Coursera+ computer science training and certification course.
Now, as the co-founder of TPI, Kenneth uses his leadership skills and shares his programming/IT knowledge with dozens of students from different backgrounds. These enriching experiences inspired Kenneth to apply to MIT where he hopes to study computer science.
Kenneth is 1 of 450 Lowell Public School students who gained new skills this year through Project LEARN programs. Here’s just a snapshot of our other 2022 accomplishments:
We're grateful for the life-changing investment you've made in Lowell's youth. Our Project LEARN team looks forward to expanding our impact on Lowell students together in 2023.
With gratitude,
